How are perth mint certificates for storage accounts?

What do you think of Perth Mint Certificates, as storage accounts go? Do you think there's any other storage account option that would be better?

Hi Turtle
I had a large Perth mint certificate but ended up taking possesion .....having said that...I feel like it was the right decision! Although I really like the idea of what they do , the overwelming opinions here and with articals I read suggest possesion is the way to go.

If you abhor taking possession, you could also consider goldmoney.com.

A mixture of physical possession and convenience is certainly reasonable.

I would only keep it there if it was something I could lose. Even a reputable company can have issues if there is a run on the bank. I don't want to be holding a certificate in hand when a bank holiday is declared. My game is to diversity storage and have no one portion break me if it is compromized.

This could be a good storage facility for you, but don't make it the only one.
